Ce site propose des projections statistiques relatives aux performances individuelles de joueurs de la NBA, à des fins d'information et de divertissement. Il est non commercial et n'est ni affilié, ni approuvé, ni parrainé par la National Basketball Association (NBA), NBA Properties, Inc., Sports Reference LLC, ni par aucune équipe ou aucun joueur de la NBA.
Les projections publiées sont des estimations statistiques produites par un modèle d'apprentissage automatique. Elles ne constituent ni des prédictions de résultats garantis, ni des conseils de pari, ni des conseils financiers ou des recommandations professionnelles d'aucune sorte. Les performances réelles diffèrent régulièrement, et parfois sensiblement, de ces projections. Voir les Conditions d'utilisation pour l'avertissement complet.
Propriété intellectuelle
Le modèle d'apprentissage automatique, le code du site, son design et les contenus originaux que nous créons sont protégés au titre de la propriété intellectuelle. Les noms des joueurs, les noms des équipes et les statistiques de la NBA utilisés sur le site sont soit des informations factuelles relevant du domaine public, soit utilisés de manière purement nominative et informative. Toute reproduction, distribution ou réutilisation des contenus originaux du site sans autorisation écrite préalable est interdite.

We do not collect: payment information, location data, device identifiers, phone numbers, or any other data not listed above. We do not use advertising trackers or share data with advertising networks.

Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA): your data is stored on servers they operate. They act as our data processor and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Email delivery (Brevo / Sendinblue SAS, 55 rue d'Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France): used solely to send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). They do not have access to any other user data.
- Law enforcement or courts: only when required by applicable law or a binding legal order.
Your personal data may be processed on servers located outside the European Economic Area (Cloudflare operates globally). Where this is the case, appropriate safeguards apply, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access (Art. 15): request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification (Art. 16): ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure (Art. 17): ask us to delete your account and all associated data. You can also do this directly from your account settings.
- Restriction (Art. 18): ask us to temporarily stop processing your data.
- Data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (e.g. JSON or CSV).
- Object (Art. 21): object to processing carried out under legitimate interest.

Cookies
We use a single session cookie, which is strictly necessary to keep you logged in while you navigate the site. It does not track you across other websites. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable EU law.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts. All website assets (scripts, fonts, images) are self-hosted — no data is sent to third-party servers when you visit this site, except for the authentication service (Supabase) and email delivery (Brevo) described above.
Security
Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. All communications between your browser and our servers use HTTPS encryption. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
No system can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the CNIL within the legally required timeframe.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify registered users by email at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you have acknowledged the updated policy.

1. About the Service
vates-sports.com (the "Service") is operated by Marin Baudinet-Barrès ("we", "us", "our"). The Service publishes statistical projections for NBA player performance, generated by a machine-learning model. It is currently non-commercial and free to use.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and has authorized your use of the Service.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account and must:
- Provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential and not share it with anyone.
- Notify us immediately at marin@vates-sports.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may hold only one account. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious violation.
4. Permitted use
The Service is for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, redistribute, or sell any projections, data, or content from the Service.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or circumvent any security or access control of the Service.
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, overload, or impair it.
- Impersonate another person or create accounts on behalf of others.
5. Predictions — disclaimer
The projections published on this Service are statistical estimates produced by a machine-learning model. They are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
They are not predictions of guaranteed outcomes. They are not betting advice, financial advice, or professional recommendations of any kind. We make no representation or warranty as to their accuracy. Actual NBA player performance will routinely and sometimes significantly differ from these projections.
Do not use these projections as the basis for placing bets, wagers, or any financial decision. We accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage — financial or otherwise — resulting from reliance on the projections published on this Service.
6. Intellectual property
The machine-learning model, website code, design, and original content we create are our intellectual property. NBA player names, team names, and statistics used on the Service are either factual information in the public domain or used in a purely nominative/informational manner. This Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Basketball Association, NBA Properties, Inc., Sports Reference LLC, or any NBA team.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without prior written permission.
7. Availability and modifications
We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire Service at any time, with or without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Since the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed €1.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at marin@vates-sports.com to seek an amicable resolution. If no resolution is reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
